We're based in Milton, Ontario and primarily serve the Greater Toronto Area including Milton, Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga, and surrounding communities. For projects outside this area, please contact us to discuss possibilities.
Spring and fall are ideal seasons for planting. Spring installations from April through June allow plants to establish before summer heat, while fall plantings from September through October give roots time to develop before winter. However, we can design and plan your project anytime, preparing for the optimal planting window.
Timeline varies by project scope. Our Petite Balcony Garden typically takes one day to install. The Classic Flowerbed Collection usually requires two days including preparation and planting. The Enchanted Garden Suite may take several days to a week depending on complexity. Design consultation and planning occur beforehand.
We handle most preparation as part of our service. However, it's helpful if you can clear the area of personal items, furniture, or debris. For flowerbed projects, ensuring water access is appreciated. We'll discuss specific requirements during your consultation.
We design gardens with your lifestyle in mind. Low-maintenance options focus on hardy perennials and self-sufficient plants requiring minimal intervention. All gardens benefit from regular watering during establishment, seasonal cleanup, and occasional deadheading. We provide detailed care instructions tailored to your specific plants.
Many of our clients are beginning gardeners! We select forgiving, resilient plants and provide comprehensive care guides with clear instructions. We're always available to answer questions as you learn. Our goal is to set you up for success regardless of experience level.
Watering needs depend on plant type, container size, weather, and season. Generally, newly planted gardens need daily watering for the first few weeks. Established perennial gardens may need watering once or twice weekly in dry periods. Container gardens typically require more frequent watering than in-ground beds. We'll provide specific guidance for your plants.
Perennials die back naturally in fall and return in spring. We include plants with interesting winter structure when appropriate. For balcony containers, we can design with cold-hardy evergreens or ornamental elements. Annual plants complete their lifecycle and won't return, but can be replaced each season.
Absolutely! Your preferences guide our design process. We're happy to incorporate favorite plants or color schemes. We'll also suggest complementary additions based on your choices and growing conditions to create the most successful garden possible.
Package prices include consultation, design, plants, containers or materials, soil amendments, installation, and care instructions. Additional services like ongoing maintenance, seasonal refreshes, or structural elements beyond package scope may incur additional fees discussed upfront.
We require a deposit to secure your project date and order plants. The balance is due upon completion. For larger projects, we can discuss payment arrangements during consultation. We accept various payment methods for your convenience.
We stand behind our plant quality and installation practices. Plants that fail due to our error will be replaced. However, plants require proper care including adequate watering and protection from extreme conditions. We'll help troubleshoot any issues and provide guidance to ensure your garden thrives.
We're here to help! Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions about our services, plant selection, or garden design. We love talking about plants and helping people create beautiful outdoor spaces.
